A recent development in the field of women entrepreneurship is research on their entrepreneurial competencies. Entrepreneurial competencies have been studied earlier, however past studies have not considered gender or have not taken women as their focus. To better understand how the competencies of women entrepreneurs affect the performance of their businesses, this study constructs and examines a conceptual framework wherein the impact of competencies (a)Innovativeness and (b)Business and management, on financial and non-financial performance of the firm is examined. Data was obtained from 158 female entrepreneurs operating in India through a survey. The study has utilized PLS-SEM to analyze the data. The findings show that the Innovativeness of women entrepreneurs have a positive significant impact on both financial and non-financial firm performances. Business and management competencies have shown a positive significant impact on the firm’s financial performance, However, the impact of Business and management competence on non-financial performance of the firm was not significant. The results of this study will have ramifications for both theory and practice. Theoretically, it will improve our comprehension of the distinctive elements affecting women entrepreneurs’ firm performance in developing nations, particularly in the Indian setting. From a practical standpoint, the research’s findings will give policymakers, business support groups, and women entrepreneurs themselves insightful information that will help them identify strategies to improve business management skills, foster innovativeness, and ultimately improve firm performance.
Raj K Kovid, Neetika Singh, Ashok Kumar Copyright (c) 2023 Ramanujan International Journal of Business and Research https://rijbr.in/1/article/view/1196 Thu, 29 Jun 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Organizational Identification as a Moderator in the Relationship of Positive Psychological Capital and Organizational Citizenship Behavior: Insights from Healthcare Professionals in a Digitalized Context https://rijbr.in/1/article/view/1007
Qualitative performance measured through organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) warrants additional scrutiny when employees are withdrawn from physical workplaces due to increased digitalization in post-pandemic order. To investigate this, we relied on two important antecedents of OCB, viz., PsyCap and OI. Furthermore, we tested the effect of OI as a moderator in the relationship between PsyCap and OCB. Drawing on a sample of 308 healthcare professionals (who worked from home) in the pharmacovigilance industry, we tested the model using partial least squares structural equation modeling. Results suggest a significant and positive association between both determinants of OCB. However, the effect of OI as the moderator in the PsyCap and OCB relationship was found to be insignificant. Despite the importance, the adoption in clinical use has not materialized in India as envisaged. This study aims to determine and classify the factors preventing Indian healthcare providers from embracing mHealth devices. Thirty-six elements concerning mHealth devices were identified from an extensive literature review and then grouped into seven factors named. The healthcare providers' ranked the factors using a fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP).The seven factors ranked in the order of priority are: scientific evidence of device utility, healthcare delivery, device owning cost for patients, behavioral and social aspects, policy environment and operational support, technical characteristics, and patient empowerment & independent decision making. The study contributes to identifying and understanding the factors concerning adopting mHealth devices or wearables in clinical use in India. It is among the first studies to rank them using a rigorous mathematical approach. Additionally, it guides stakeholders in designing appropriate interventions to facilitate the adoption of mHealth devices in clinical practice.
Dhiraj Pal Copyright (c) 2023 Ramanujan International Journal of Business and Research https://rijbr.in/1/article/view/1067 Thu, 29 Jun 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Understanding Journey of Organizational Citizenship Behavior using Keywords Co-occurrence Analysis: Evidences from Literature https://rijbr.in/1/article/view/990
The paper expounds on the genesis of Attribute, Organisational Citizenship Behaviour in employees. With rapid alterations in the geopolitical and geo- economic relations around the globe, the relevance of the WTO is under scrutiny. In recent times, many multilateral negotiations have failed to reach any conclusion due to a deadlock over the interests and objectives of participating member countries. Resultantly, many countries have entered into regional trade agreements that are more compatible with their aspirations. The advancement of regionalism has made way for more sophisticated agreements- Mega-Regional Trade Agreements (MRTAs) encompassing the current trend of complex global production relations. The study analyzes two important MRTAs- Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). The paper aims to investigate the viability of MRTAs as building blocks of multilateralism. It mainly posits that the signing of MRTAs does not mean the demise of the WTO. The study affirms that the WTO can overcome all its impediments and work in unison with the MRTAs for sound global trade governance architecture.
Gunasekaran, Rose Govindaraj Copyright (c) 2023 Ramanujan International Journal of Business and Research https://rijbr.in/1/article/view/1042 Thu, 29 Jun 2023 00:00:00 +0000 A Bibliometric Analysis of Omnichannel Management https://rijbr.in/1/article/view/1201
In the past decade, the retail industry has undergone a revolutionary transformation. Today, the rise of online and mobile shopping is reshaping consumer behaviour and business strategies, significantly impacting well-established retailers. As a result, retailers have begun concentrating on omnichannel management and providing customers with a seamless experience. For many traditional businesses, omnichannel management is now a necessity. It involves integrating all of the company's channels so that customers have an enjoyable experience and spread positive word of mouth. While omnichannel has recently attracted the interest of researchers, there still exists a need for an in-depth and comprehensive analysis of current research trends in this area of study. The study employs bibliometric analysis to examine research papers from the Web of Science database from 2011 to 2023. The selection of papers was conducted and reported using the PRISMA Protocol. It evaluated indicators such as research output, citation trends, thematic maps, leading contributors, countries, journals, and organisations by using the Web of Science database using Biblioshiny and VOSviewer. Patterns such as co-occurrence of keywords and authorship collaboration between countries were analysed using network visualisation analysis. Apart from the pattern analysis, this study also identified theoretical and conceptual developments in omnichannel retail environments, mapped the existing research, assessed contemporary interrelationships in research in this domain, and recommended potential research avenues for future researchers.
Harish Kumar, Rajan Yadav Copyright (c) 2023 Ramanujan International Journal of Business and Research https://rijbr.in/1/article/view/1201 Wed, 29 Jun 2022 00:00:00 +0000 Indian Perspective on Arbitrability of Insolvency Disputes: Intersection, Intervention and Interpretation for Synergy Among Both Regimes https://rijbr.in/1/article/view/1171
India is fast emerging as a vibrant economy committed to establishing itself as a business-friendly destination country. The current ranking in the World Economic Forum and various reforms to modify the Indian regulatory framework exhibit this trend. From ranking 142 in 2014 to 63 in 2019 in “ease of doing business”, the constant effort towards improving Indian business regulation by adopting best practices is observable. In this regard, the Indian laws on Insolvency, Bankruptcy and Arbitration provide swift insolvency resolution and better settlement of disputes outside the traditional and cumbersome court procedures. However, both law have several confrontational zones of overlapping that require emphasis. The focus and purpose of the paper are to analyze the interplay between arbitration and insolvency proceedings.

Further, the case analysis will highlight the legal position of courts and adjudicatory authorities about the conditions when both regimes can continue concurrently to protect the creditor dealing with an insolvent individual or body. The main idea is to strive and find ways to avoid a collision between the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016 (hereinafter IBC 2016) and Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 (hereinafter A&C Act 1996) with an appreciation of the applicability, interface, and issues regarding the arbitrability of insolvency proceedings. The paper qualitatively examined several judicial pronouncements relevant to different aspects of the A&C Act 1996 and IBC 2016. The results deduced from the case analysis suggest that the insolvency and arbitration overlap is inevitable due to grey areas and recommend that until the Indian jurisprudence matures, the arbitrability of insolvency disputes will continue. The paper will aid in devising precise and novel ways to balance diverse conflicts and devising novel ways to balance these conflicts to secure the best from both these regimes.
NEELAM TYAGI Copyright (c) 2023 Ramanujan International Journal of Business and Research https://rijbr.in/1/article/view/1171 Thu, 29 Jun 2023 00:00:00 +0000 An Insight into Select Physical Parameters amongst Primary School Children: A Call for Sustainable Information for Effective Sports Management https://rijbr.in/1/article/view/1179
The prevalence of flat foot and knock knee is a result of postural deformity or incorrect posture that can be corrected if taken care of at an early age. If these postural deformities are not dealt with at an early age, they can hamper the quality of life and restrain children from participating in many sports activities. The main aim of the work is to find the prevalence of flat feet and knock knees among primary school children between 6 to 10 years of age. The relationship between demographic factors such as age, gender and weight with flat feet and knock knees among primary school children are also analysed. The results of the study are drawn using data collected from two schools with 1590 children, out of which 888 are males and 702 are females. The Chi-square test and univariate logistic regression are used for analysis. Further, in this paper, we also analyse the relationship of flat feet with knock knees. In summary three out of every five children were diagnosed with flat feet and two out of every five children were diagnosed with knock knees. The results show that gender and weight were associated with flat feet and weight was associated with knock knees. It was also shown that 80% of children with knock knees also had flat feet. It is suggested that screening and assessment of flat feet and knock knees must be conducted periodically for primary school children.
Subodh Mor, Shikha Khera, G.C.
